¡Bienvenidos, chicos! Las Loyas was created out of our spontaneous kick for adventure, exploration and passion to share all the good the world has to offer.

 

We started venturing at the age of two, following our family around the world. Whether it was driving down the dry lands of North Mexico or flying across the Caribbean Sea to Panama, we quickly began a love affair with travel. We could blame our parents for our continuous itch to explore, but logically — being from the Midwest — we realized that making use of our passports was a new way to experience a sense of thrill and joy outside of cornfields and country dirt roads.

 

As our travel bug became more infectious, our drive to share the world with others did too through a film camera in hand. Since then, we have been transformed and cultivated by the places we've seen, the people we've met, and the cultures we've experienced.

This is a place where we document and create stories through photography, videography, and writing. This is a place where we learn to understand what the world looks like from other perspectives. A place where you can follow along with what we have seen and hope to see; a place for you and me.
